Huby Rider Selected to Represent England at Endurance Home Internationals in Scotland

Local equestrian Anne Featherstone has been officially selected to represent England at the prestigious Home Internationals endurance riding competition, taking place in Scotland from 4th to 6th September.

This selection marks an extraordinary milestone for Anne, coming just over a year after a serious riding accident left her with four fractures in her back.

Anne, who lives in Huby, York, balances her passion for equestrian sports with her full-time career as Assistant Head of the Adult Learning and Skills Service (Adult Education for 19+) and her role as Secretary for the North & East Yorkshire Group of Endurance.

She will be competing alongside her trusted partner, Streamstown Sarah—affectionately known as "Enya"—a spirited 13-year-old Irish Sports Horse.
